After every 5 years all dentists present their continuous education documents to the special board at Estonian Dental Association The Estonian Orthodontic Society and Estonian Dental Association arrange courses in the field of orthodontics with international and national lecturers every year. The Estonian Dental Association keeps a register about courses an individual orthodontist has taken.

Trends that we are interested in are similar to those of the rest of the world, such as multidisciplinary treatment, mini-implant temporary anchorage devices, etc. Since 2006, there has been no notable increase in movement of orthodontists from or to the EU countries.
